India photos Pushkar

Pushkar is a small town at the holy lake that is believed to have been created by Lord Brahma himself when he dropped a lotus flower in this place. The holy Pushkar Lake is surrounded by 52 Ghats. There are over 400 temples in Pushkar and among them there is one dedicated to Brahma. It is the only temple dedicated to Brahma in India. Some of other important temples are dedicated to: Raghunath, Varaha, Savitri, and Gayatri. Pushkar is also famous for its Camel fair.
