Jodhpur - the Blue City. Traditionally the blue colour indicated a house of a Brahmin, nowadays most of the old city is painted sky-blue. The city is located at the edge of the Great Thar Desert. One of its landmarks is The majestic fort of Meherangarh - still run by the maharaja of Jodhpur.
